Is the Ruckus Maker Mastermind Right For You?
Spring is the season of renewal. It's budget time and the most effective principals are setting the stage for transformative growth next year. Meanwhile, Play-It-Safe-Principals remain stuck in the status quo.
Here are 10 questions that will help you decide if The Ruckus Maker Mastermind is right for you:
Do you feel like you're leading in isolation, with no one who truly understands your challenges?
Is creating a legendary campus experience something you dream about, but never have the support to execute?
Do you seek validation for your innovative ideas but have no peers to bounce them off?
Are you planning your budget but unsure how to allocate resources for maximum impact next year?
Do you crave meaningful connections with other visionary principals who are reimagining education?
Are you tired of fighting the traditional system alone when you know students deserve better?
Have you endured one-size-fits-all professional development that leaves you more frustrated than inspired?
Have you made promising shifts on your campus, only to have self-doubt creep in when challenges arise?
Are you hungry for proven frameworks that other innovative leaders are using to transform their schools?
Do you long for a community that celebrates your wins and helps you troubleshoot your failures?
If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, you're not alone.
Because the 50 Ruckus Makers in our mastermind all faced these exact same challenges. And found their breakthrough.
The Ruckus Maker Mastermind eliminates each of these roadblocks. When you join, you'll get:
Peer-to-peer coaching

Solutions to your biggest challenges

And more ...
And in case you're still wondering if this experience is right for you...
Here are the 3 most common "archetypes" of school leaders who thrive in our mastermind:
The Lonely Leader: You're surrounded by people all day, but have nowhere to turn for help. You need a trusted circle of peers who can validate your ideas or poke holes in them without judgment.
The Vision-Driven Principal: You know WHAT you want to accomplish, but you struggle with HOW. You need a strategic sounding board to refine your approach.
The Growth-Minded Innovator: You refuse to be another forgettable principal. You want to build a campus experience worth showing up for – and need support to make that vision reality.
If you identify with any of these archetypes, The Ruckus Maker Mastermind could be exactly what you need.
Our community will help you make shifts:
FROM isolation TO connection.
FROM idea TO reality.
FROM low-impact TO legendary.
FROM old, traditional, and broken TO new, different, and creative.
The mastermind model meets you where you're at and helps you get to where you are going. The curriculum is you.
School leaders should get personalized support. Not what the district thinks you need. Not support that's Too-Little-Too-Late, Unhelpful, or Disconnected.

TIP OF THE WEEK
The 5-3-1 Meeting Framework
Too many school meetings waste precious time.
Instead, try the 5-3-1 framework. It will transform your faculty gatherings from energy-draining to momentum-building:
5 Minutes: Share a meaningful win. Start by highlighting one concrete success story that embodies your school vision. Make it specific, personal, and connected to your "why."
3 Questions: Focus the entire meeting around answering three essential questions. Only three. Write them on the board. Stay disciplined. If a topic doesn't address one of the three questions, put it in the "parking lot" for later.
1 Next Step: End by having every attendee commit to ONE clear action they'll take before the next meeting. Small steps with 100% follow-through beats ambitious plans with spotty execution every time.
Try this at your next leadership team or faculty meeting. Your team will leave energized rather than exhausted. You'll also cut meeting time in half while doubling your impact.
But Danny, what are the three questions I should ask?
Who knows? It's customizable to every campus on planet earth (AND BEYOND ...)
But if it was me asking the questions, I would align it to my Do School Different POV.
"What's one shift we can make FROM [traditional practice] TO [innovative approach] in the next 30 days?" This frames change as manageable shifts rather than overwhelming transformation.
"Where are we playing it safe when we should be making a ruckus?" This question challenges comfort zones and identifies areas where conformity is limiting impact.
"How will this decision/initiative elevate the student experience on our campus?" This keeps the focus on what matters most – creating memorable, meaningful experiences for students.
The beauty of the 5-3-1 framework is that you can tailor these questions to your campus. What challenge or opportunity are you facing right now?
If you use this framework and experience a great result, write me an email and tell me what happened. It would be cool to tell your story on the podcast.
ALBA
I was playing with ChatGPT to make a toy model of myself and Alba. I don’t know who the guy is supposed to be, but I like how Alba turned out. I wonder if she’s agree with me.

CLASS DISMISSED
The Decision That Separates Legendary Principals From Ones That Vanish Into History.
I'm about to tell you something that might make you uncomfortable: 82% of school leaders will end 2025 exactly where they started it. Same problems. Same frustrations. Same results.
But not you. Not if you join the Ruckus Maker Mastermind this spring.
The Ruckus Makers who create legendary campus experiences all made ONE decision differently: they invested in themselves when others wouldn't.
Now accepting new members into our flagship coaching experience.
You deserve world-class support. What do you want your legacy to be?
Keep Making a Ruckus,
Danny
PS … The most successful principals I've coached all share one trait – they don't wait for permission to level up. When our members were asked what they regretted most, 91% said "not joining sooner." The other 9%? They said "not signing up my team." Decide now which group you'll join. Apply to the mastermind today!
